Bosco (Head Guide) and Kennedy (Asst Head Guide) were best in class. Ivan Charles is ready to advance to become at least an Assistant Head Guide. We were lucky that Ivan was designated as helper and be one of the summit porters. Kennedy, our waiter, also deserves special recognition. Our stomach engineer, Mongoshoh cooked meals that were nutritious and delicious. Michael, who was in charge of toilets did a phenomenal job. Frank, our camping master always picked the best camping spot on all the camps. The other summit porter, Richard and Mohamed helped us with our goal to reach the top of Kilimanjaro. Smiling faces of porters like Hans, Faharan, Ezekiel, Masumbuko, Alufayo, James and Bashiru made me and Alice smile despite the hardships in the mountains.
