The guides and porters were amazing. It would be good to get more information on what peak planet are doing to ensure they are paid fairly and have good treatment whilst on the mountain.

KPAP recognizes the value of the demanding labor these porters perform. They are committed to improving the working conditions of the porters on Kilimanjaro. We are also members of the International Mountain Explorers Connection (IMEC). IMEC has instituted a Partnership for Responsible Travel Program based on the Proper Porter Treatment Guidelines established by the Kilimanjaro stakeholders.
